Sir Stirling Moss


Sir Stirling is often called "The Greatest Driver Never to Win the World Championship"; he retired in 1962 after a crash that left him in a coma for a month and then he felt unable to compete.
Stirling Moss persuded his father  Alferd Moss to get him one of those new Cooper 500 Cars.
Stirling Moss won the golden cup in the Alpine Rally 1954. 
After he retired he went into broadcasting career, and he was the narrator in the official 1988 Formula One season.
Sir Stirling Moss was born in 17 September 1929 so he is 84 years old by now,
He drove 84 different cars professionally. Stirling Moss is not the only rally driver in his family; his father Alfred Moss was a rally driver in 1924 and his young sister Pat Moss joined the career as well. 
Stirling Moss was banned from driving for 12 months for dangerous driving in 1960.
